Jeff's Farm Update: Harvest specials and farm kitchen update

As we say goodbye to October and welcome November, it’s your last chance to enjoy some of the delights of fall! Don’t miss out on the last weekend of our corn maze, pumpkin picking, and visiting with our goats.  Our “kids” are going to their new home next week.  This Sunday also marks the season's final day for our food truck, Moulton’s Hay Wagon.

Despite the first frost of the season last week, we’re still busy harvesting a variety of produce. Our “Now Harvesting” page is updated daily and includes tomatoes, Moulton’s salad mix, potatoes, sweet potatoes, beets, carrots, and so much more!


We’re also still growing food for you. Inside our hydroponic house, our salad mix is thriving and we expect to be picking it through December. We’re also growing tomatoes and cherry tomatoes in our season extending grow tunnels.

Be sure to check out our harvest specials with our special 1/2-bushel case offering of vegetables we've grown for you. They're $30 each. Choose all carrots, all beets, winter squash (you select the squash you want), or our "Fall Harvest Special," which has a set mix of beets, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes and winter squash (no substitutions).


In our farm kitchen, our chefs are hard at work making fresh soups and prepared meals, as well as our beloved meat pies. Meat pie production will continue until the end of December to ensure there is enough for this winter and all of next spring. 


In our farm bakery, our bakers are getting ready for Thanksgiving with a focus on pumpkin treats—think pumpkin whoopie pies, pies, muffins, and cookies! We’re now accepting orders for Thanksgiving pies, breads, rolls, and other treats until November 26th.


Have you ordered your turkey yet? We’re thrilled to partner once again with Misty Knoll Farm, offering fresh, free-range turkeys for Thanksgiving.  Place your turkey orders by November 12th to ensure you don’t miss out! 


Mark your calendars for our Open House on Saturday, November 9th, from 11 am to 2 pm.   Enjoy samples of our everyday items, special holiday foods we can make for you, and some of the foods from our catering menu.  Plus, we’ll have local vendors showcasing their products as well.
