We are hosting two workshops in June for gardeners of all experience levels.
On Saturday, June 1, “How to Keep Your Vegetable Garden Growing” will be presented by John Moulton, owner of Moulton Farm. The workshop is free and starts at 10:30 am. Pre-registration is required.
“After you get your vegetable garden planted, a lot can go wrong. It’s definitely not a “set it and forget it” activity,” explains John. “Weather, pests, and other things can cause problems that can challenge your plants.”
During the workshop, John will discuss what to do to help avoid issues before they happen, early signs of issues to watch out for, and how to deal with common issues when they arise. The workshop will also include a question and answer session.
On Saturday, June 8, people who want to grow herbs in planters or window boxes will enjoy our hands-on “Herb Container Garden” workshop. Sue Dail of our garden center will lead the workshop and discuss selecting, planting, and caring for herbs. Pre-registration is required.
Participants will have fun getting their hands dirty planting a container full of herbs of their own choosing to take home. The workshop costs $35 and includes a $20 gift card for purchasing herb plants during the workshop for the project.
Due to the popularity of past gardening workshops at the farm and limited seats, pre-registration is required. Register for either workshop by clicking here or by calling the farm at 603-279-3915.
